Accuracy and reliability release. No new features. This one makes sure the numbers on your invoices and estimates are always right.
Fixed
- Invoice totals now always include fees and tips. Previously, editing a line item on an invoice that had service fees or a customer tip could silently drop those amounts from the total. Totals, balances, and PDFs now stay consistent no matter when you edit.
- Approving a tiered estimate records the right total. When a customer picked a Good/Better/Best option, the recorded approval total could include items from the other tiers. It now reflects exactly what they chose.
- Duplicating an invoice or estimate copies everything. Duplicates now keep sections and pricing tiers, optional items, billing frequency, fees, and item costs. (Customer tips are intentionally not carried over to the new invoice.)
- Optional add-on items keep their "optional" status when added to an estimate or when an estimate is duplicated.
- Tips can no longer be changed on an invoice that's already paid, and tip updates are protected against conflicting with a payment that arrives at the same moment.
- Inactivity warnings are now guaranteed. Your account will never be closed for inactivity without a warning email actually being sent first, and coming back to the app resets the countdown.
- Tightened security across the admin area, sign-in checks, and system endpoints, and fixed a number of small interface bugs.

- Automatic trial expiry. Free trials now end on schedule, and you'll get an email when yours expires with a link to upgrade.
- Inactive account cleanup. Free accounts that haven't been used for about two months receive a warning email, and are closed a week later if there's still no activity. Signing back in keeps your account active.

- Optional line items on estimates. Mark items as optional add-ons, and your customers can check or uncheck them on the shared estimate page, and the total updates live as they choose.
- Item dependencies. Link items that belong together, so selecting an add-on automatically includes anything it requires.

- Send invoices by text message. Deliver invoices straight to your customer's phone, right where they'll see them.
- Tipping. Customers can add a tip when viewing and paying an invoice.
- QR codes on invoices. Unpaid invoice PDFs include a QR code your customer can scan to open the payment page instantly.
- Client statements. Generate a statement summarizing a customer's invoices and payments over a period.
