Mobile App Installation

WorkSnap Pro is designed as a job-site ready Progressive Web App (PWA). Install it on your device for the best experience.

What is a PWA?

A Progressive Web App gives you an app-like experience without downloading from an app store:

• Limited offline access - View recently accessed data; changes sync when back online
• Fast loading - Cached resources for quick access
• Home screen icon - Launch like a native app
• Automatic updates - Updates automatically when you reopen the app with an internet connection

Installing on iOS (iPhone/iPad)

1. Open Safari and navigate to WorkSnap Pro
2. Tap the Share button (square with arrow)
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
4. Name it "WorkSnap Pro" (or your preference)
5. Tap Add

The WorkSnap Pro icon will appear on your home screen.

Note: PWA installation must be done through Safari on iOS. Chrome and other browsers don't support this feature on iOS.

Installing on Android

Using Chrome

1. Open Chrome and navigate to WorkSnap Pro
2. Tap the three dots menu (top right)
3. Tap Add to Home screen or Install app
4. Confirm by tapping Add

Using Samsung Internet

1. Open the browser and navigate to WorkSnap Pro
2. Tap the menu icon
3. Select Add page to > Home screen

Installing on Desktop

Chrome

1. Navigate to WorkSnap Pro
2. Click the install icon in the address bar (or three dots menu)
3. Click Install

Edge

1. Navigate to WorkSnap Pro
2. Click the three dots menu
3. Select Apps > Install this site as an app

Safari (macOS)

1. Navigate to WorkSnap Pro
2. Click File > Add to Dock

Note: This feature requires macOS Sonoma (14.0) or later.

Camera Integration

• Snap photos directly into jobs
• Capture receipts and documents
• Before/during/after photo documentation

Offline Capabilities

• View recent invoices and estimates
• Access customer information
• Draft documents offline (sync when connected)

Troubleshooting

Installation Option Not Appearing

• Ensure you're using a supported browser (Safari on iOS, Chrome on Android)
• Clear browser cache and try again
• Make sure you're on the main WorkSnap Pro page

App Not Updating

• Close and reopen the app
• Check your internet connection
• Clear the app cache in browser settings

Notifications Not Working

• Enable notifications in your device settings
• Allow notifications when prompted by the app
• Check that Do Not Disturb is off
