Customer Communication Log

Track interactions through WorkSnap:

  • System emails - Invoices, estimates, and receipts sent via WorkSnap
  • Delivery status - When documents were sent
  • Manual notes - Notes you add about phone calls, site visits, etc.

Note: The communication log tracks emails sent through WorkSnap. It does not automatically capture emails sent from your personal email client or phone calls.

Adding Notes

  1. Open customer
  2. Go to Notes or Activity
  3. Click Add Note
  4. Enter note details
  5. Save

Notes help you:

  • Remember customer preferences
  • Track verbal agreements
  • Document issues

Note Best Practices

  1. Be specific - Include dates and details
  2. Note commitments - Record promises or agreements
  3. Document issues - Track any problems for reference
  4. Add context - Note why a customer called or what was discussed

No, only emails sent through WorkSnap are tracked. Add manual notes for communications outside the app.
Can team members see notes I add?
Yes, notes are visible to all team members with access to the customer record.
Is there a way to log phone calls automatically?
Phone calls must be logged manually as notes. Include date, time, and summary of the conversation.
